Bijoy Chowdhury graduated from the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata and now working as a visual communicator. A committed and an obsessive photographer specialising in documentary photography.
His ardent photography has got him several national and international awards, such as Nirman Award and Photo Division Award. He has also got International Awards, and won the Commonwealth Photography Award twice. He was also given the National Geography Traveller Photo Award, that has ultimately come as a full circle of his recognition as a devotional lensman.
